Meet your Instructor & Herbalist, Feather Jones, RH, AHG

“I’ve been studying herbal medicine since the late 70’s and seeing clients for as many years. Offering herbal consultations was never my main focus, although folks in need always found me and I was grateful for the opportunities to serve. Being more of an outdoor herbalist, I love teaching about the wild plants in wild places. Still all I have learned, either through herbal mentors and women healers over the years or in my own practice finding what works for each individual, has lead me to create reasonable and gut intuitive guidelines. This is what I want to share with anyone who feels drawn to learning more.“

What other students are saying...

"Feather saved my life! This year of working with her and learning deep wisdom about plant medicine, nature and humanity was one of the most important times in my life.

I’ve made loving new friends and discovered beautiful new worlds, while others sat at home, withering away without social contacts.

I can not describe in words the value the excursion had for me. The sanctity of some of these spots in nature feather showed us can not be translated into language and will forever stay in my heart in their own way…"

-Jan Kielmann, DCN, CNS, IFMCP

"Feather’s apprenticeship program has been such a wonderful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that it’s positively changed how I see and experience the world around me, the plant world in particular. With Feather’s guidance, I have learned how to identify and work with so many of our wonderful desert plants AND, thanks to the field trips, plants that live outside the desert, too. I went from knowing only the barest of basics about herbalism to confidently crafting an array of herbal medicines including tinctures, elixirs, vinegars, salves, butters, and more! I am so happy I found this program, so much that I signed up for year two!”
